When you use FSC®-certified products, you can be sure that the materials originate from forestry operations that ensure responsible harvesting, the protection of biodiversity, and fair conditions for local communities and forestry workers.
FSC® is endorsed by, among others, recognised NGOs such as the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and Forests of the World.
What does the FSC® label signify?
FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council® and is an international certification scheme for forest-based products, such as paper and cardboard. The FSC sets requirements regarding forest management, supply chain traceability, and workers' rights.
When you choose FSC-certified packaging:
- You obtain documentation that the wood was sourced in an ethically sound manner—a requirement increasingly demanded by customers.
- You demonstrate an active commitment to supporting major sustainability agendas, such as the green transition and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- You can be assured that the wood was harvested legally—a requirement stipulated by timber regulations such as the EUTR.

Our work includes identifying and managing significant environmental aspects, setting environmental objectives, monitoring our environmental performance, and pursuing continuous improvement. ISO 14001 also includes requirements for managing relevant environmental legislation and other obligations.
Maintaining ISO 14001 certification requires Scanlux Packaging to undergo regular audits by independent third parties. These audits ensure that the company complies with the environmental management requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and that all employees adhere to these practices.
