Cookies

The website uses ‘cookies’, which are text files that are saved on your computer, mobile or equivalent device for the purposes of recognising it, remembering settings, collecting statistics and targeting advertising. It is not possible for cookies to contain harmful code, such as a virus.
It is possible to delete or block cookies.

The website contains cookies from third parties, including Google Analytics.

Types of Browser Cookies

Transit Browser Cookie
This is a type of browser cookie that exists for as long as the browser window is running. The cookie is automatically removed from your computer’s hard drive as soon as the browser window is closed. This type of browser cookie can, for example, be used to remember that a user is logged in, so that the user need not log in on every page.

Persistent Browser Cookie
This is a type of browser cookie that exists after the browser window has been closed and usually has an expiry date, after which the cookie is automatically deleted from your computer’s hard drive.
This type of browser cookie can, for example, be used to remember your user settings for a website. When you use the website in the future, the website will remember your selected user settings and will not need to ask you about them again.

Flash Browser Cookie
If you have Adobe Flash installed on your computer, websites that contain Flash media can save small data files on your computer’s hard drive. These data files are also known as Local Shared Objects, or Flash cookies. A Flash cookie is very similar to a browser cookie, with the exception that Flash cookies are not removed when you delete browser cookies through your browser. You can visit the Adobe Flash Player Settings Panel to control and remove Flash cookies.

Personal Data

General
Personal data refers to all information that can be attributed to you in some way. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such information, for example: during standard accessing of content, if you subscribe to our newsletter, if you take part in competitions or surveys, if you register as a user or subscriber, if you make purchases through the website or if you otherwise make use of our services.
We typically collect and process the following information: a unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet or mobile phone; your IP address; your geographical location and which sites you click on (interests). We also process the following information when you have entered it yourself and have explicitly consented to its use: name, phone number, email address, address and payment information. This will typically be in connection with the creation of a login or when making a purchase.

Security
We have taken technical and organisational steps to help ensure that your information is not accidentally or illegally deleted, disclosed, lost, damaged, shared with unauthorised parties, misused or otherwise used in an illegal manner.

Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and to show you the advertising that is most likely to be relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, as well as to enable us to provide services you have requested, such as sending you a newsletter. We also use the information to optimise our services and content.

Retention Period
The information is retained for the length of time allowed by law, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. This length of time depends on the type of information and the reason it was obtained. It is therefore not possible to give a general time frame after which information is deleted.

Data Sharing
Information about your use of the website, the content you receive and/or click on, your geographical location, your sex, your age group, etc., where these are known, is shared with third parties. You can read about these third parties above, in the section about ‘cookies’. The information is used for the purpose of targeting advertising.
We also use a range of third parties for storing and processing data. These third parties only process information on our behalf, and may not use this information for their own purposes. Personal data such as your name and email address, etc., will only be shared if you consent for it to be shared. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can ensure your information is adequately protected.

Access Requests and Complaints
You have the right to be told what personal data of yours we are processing. You can object to data being used at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to information about you being processed. If the information about you which is being processed is incorrect, you have the right to request that it be corrected or deleted. Requests regarding these matters can be sent to: [email protected].
